大气科学专业就业趋势及方向
国内紧缺专业，国内开设的学校也不多，百分之九十五以上都能顺利就业。
方向一：基本1/3的毕业生都去了以气象局为主的事业单位，基层的气象局缺口会更大些，如果去东部沿海地区的话，县级气象局不错，但是一定要有编制。每年11月国家气象局会到各个学校去进行招聘。去气象局一般做预测员、天气预报和理论分析工作，也有做管理的。现在防雷，防空都属气象局管，所以气象部门是个肥差，待遇不错，福利比较多，工作轻松，一般每天六个小时左右。
方向二：海洋局、海洋研究所、空管局也是一个就业方向，都是事业单位，一辈子有保障。另择还有很多一部分进入机场、航空公司，属于半事业半企业性质，缺口比较大，待遇也相当优厚。
方向三：去部队也是不错的选择，跟去气象局的流程差不多，转正后级别相当于连长。
方向四：还有一些出国深造或者转专业就业。出国读研读博期间比较优秀，一般都会被导师介绍进入欧洲气象数据中心、美国气象数据中心，这种比例比较低，一般一年也就几个人。先是考国外的研究生，然后留在国外工作，这种人回来一般都当杰出校友看待。
方向五：还有一部分进入外资企业，比如我有朋友在菲尼克斯电气中国公司，做防雷这块，属于气象的范畴。虽然工资一般，但福利相当优越，一般员工光是儿童节就能发几百福利卡，夏天还免费给你办游泳卡健身，过年过节更不用说了，工作也相对轻松。
