每年这个时候,美国大学的各种排名都会纷纷放榜,想想美国各个大学要经受这么多机构的各种对比排名,也是蛮辛苦的。当然,也正是有这些形形色色、五花八门的排名,也能更好的督促美国大学的进步与发展。近期,美国的Payscale网站又发布了一个美国大学投资回报率的排行榜,不同与其他考虑很多因素的排名,Payscale专门就盯着“钱”,一切向“钱”看,从学校学费的花费,到毕业生未来的发展“钱景”,看看你的大学投资是否“物有所值”,连你毕业20年后的净投资回报都告诉你了,别再说你不知道你对毕业后的发展没有概念了,留学毕竟不是快消品,花钱也要花在刀刃上。
由排名可以看出,排在TOP100的大部分院校都是工程科的优势学校,除此之外,还有一部分学校是商科优势学校,可见在美国就业及薪酬上,工程与商科的还是占据着很大的优势,再结合前段时间STEM相关专业OPT再次延长,可见美国就业市场上,工程科还是占据很大优势的。
当然,学生在选择学校入读时,不要过分纠结我读的大学是否在各种排名的榜单上都有一席之地,选择一所适合自己的大学,对于本科生来说是非常重要的,毕竟美国的大学有一定的淘汰率,并不是所有学生都能顺利毕业的,毕竟本科阶段正是世界观、人生观和价值观养成固定的阶段,选择进入不适合的大学对学生的身心健康成长也不是很有利的一件事情。
