The University’s Halls of Residence offers safe, comfortable accommodation at affordable prices and all are within easy travelling distance of the University. With approximately 500 bed spaces available across 4 separate sites, from single bedsits to multi occupancy flats, there is something to suit everyone’s taste and budget.

Flat sizes range from 1-3 bedrooms, with our 'standard plus' rooms providing access to a shared lounge area within the flat. Options are also available to couples or students who would like a wider range of room types to choose from. Lyon Street is a popular choice for a variety of new entrants to the University with a mix of all ages throughout.

Lyon Streets halls are approximately 1 mile (a 10-15 minute walk) from the main University campus on Bell Street. There is free on street parking and bike racks available.
The lease dates are:
40 weeks = 28 August 2016 - 4 June 2017
51 weeks = 28 August 2016 - 20 August 2017
Keys can be collected at the main campus building from 10am on 27th August 2016

The rent amount for Lyon Street depends on the room type and how you will be staying with us.

We will provide the following in all flats:Iron,Ironing board,Vacuum Cleaner,Pots and Pans,Kettle,Toaster.

1.Duvet, pillow, mattress cover and bed sheets (If you don't want to carry your bulky duvet, pillow and mattress cover with you, you can buy a set from our online store and it will be in your room when you arrive.)
2.Plates and cutlery

4.Cooking utensils e.g. spatulas, wooden spoons
5.Cleaning materials
6.Toilet roll
7.Clothes hangers

If you don't want to carry too much with you when you first arrive you will be able to buy these items in the city centre where there are a vast amount of shops to choose from. Another idea could be to wait and have a flat meeting to make arrangements with each other to pay a small amount and go shopping for the items together.
如果你不想一路携带这么多东西，你可以去市区购买，那里有很多商店供你购物。也可以先到宿舍，和室友商量合买。合作比较便宜。
