Exemption from Tuition and Other Fees
About tuition fee exemption
Under the following conditions and subject to review, individuals applying for exemption from tuition fees may have half or all of their obligation waived.
If the student faces difficulties paying tuition fees due to economic reasons, and has demonstrated good academic performance
If, six months or less prior to the payment deadline (for spring tuition for newly enrolled students, one year or less prior to enrollment), the student's source of tuition support has deceased, or if the student or the student's source of tuition support has suffered the effects of a disaster including windstorm, flood, or fire
To apply for exemption, the required application, including any required certificates or other documents, must be submitted by the specified date to the Student Life and Career Planning Support Team, or to the Student Affairs Desk, Student Affairs Office of the applicant's faculty. Furthermore, applicants capable of demonstrating other special circumstances commensurate with those listed above may be eligible for deferred payment, including deadline extensions or monthly payment arrangements.
二、学费和其他费用的豁免
1、有关学费豁免
在以下情况下，经过审核评估，申请学费豁免的学生都可能获得全部或者一半学费的豁免资格
- 如果学生因为经济困难而面临学费支付的困难，并且具备优秀的学术成绩。
- 如果在支付截止时间之前的6个月或者更短时间内(至于新入学学生春季学期学费支付，在入学之前的一年或者更短时间内)，学生学费支持负责人过世，或者是学生本人或学生学费支持负责人遭遇到灾害，包括风暴、洪水、或者火灾。。
申请学费豁免资格，所需要的申请，包括任何所需证书以及其他文件，必须在特定时间之前递交到学生生活和职业规划支持团队处，或者递交到申请者意向专业所属院系的学生事务办公室。除此之外，能够证明符合上述所列的其他特殊情况的申请者可以申请费用延迟支付。

2、有关入学费用豁免

(1)本科学生

如果因为负责学生主要学费支持的人，在注册入学之前的一年或者更短时间内过世，而导致学生难以支付该费用。 |
