Scholarship Amount

What are Chevening Scholarships?
Chevening is the UK government’s international awards scheme aimed at developing global leaders. Funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations, Chevening offers two types of award – Chevening Scholarships and Chevening Fellowships – the recipients of which are personally selected by British Embassies and High Commissions throughout the world.
Chevening offers a unique opportunity for future leaders, influencers, and decision-makers from all over the world to develop professionally and academically, network extensively, experience UK culture, and build lasting positive relationships with the UK.
To be eligible for a Chevening Scholarship you must:
Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country.
Commitment to work in your home country for at least two years after completing your masters degree
Have an undergraduate degree that will enable you to gain entry to a post-graduate programme at a UK university. This is typically equivalent to an upper second-class 2:1 honours degree in the UK
Have at least two years’ work experience
Apply to three different eligible UK university courses and have received an unconditional offer from one of these choices by 13 July 2017.

Who is it for?
The University of Lincoln’s Ghana Scholarship is aimed at high achieving students from across Ghana.
Scholarship Amount
For 2017/18, the Ghana Scholarship is valued at £5,000 which will be deducted from tuition fees during enrolment. Please note that the scholarship is only applicable to postgraduate taught courses.
Selection Criteria
To be eligible for the scholarship, students must hold an unconditional offer from the University of Lincoln.
How to Apply
In order to apply, you will need to complete the Ghana Scholarship Application Form (PDF) and submit to intscholarships@lincoln.ac.uk by 5pm GMT before one of the following deadlines:

Global Postgraduate Scholarships
Who is it for?
For postgraduate programmes commencing in 2017, the University of Lincoln offer a number of Global Scholarships to students from select countries. These include: Bangladesh, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia Malaysia, Myanmar, Nigeria, Norway, Oman, Qatar, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, Philippines, Ghana, Egypt and China.
To be eligible for the scholarship, students must be self-funding international students with overseas fee status. Please note that the scholarship is not available for MPhil/PhD programmes.
Scholarship Amount
The amount of scholarship available depends on your nationality / fee status and ranges from £1,000 to £2,000.
How to apply
You do not need to apply for this scholarship. You will automatically be considered when you submit your programme application.

Goa Education Trust Scholarships
The Goa Education Trust (GET) scholarship is offered to selected Indian students annually for pursuing a Masters in the UK.
Initially conceptualised for Goans, the scholarship has now been opened up to all Indian students applying for any Master’s programme in any UK universities.
Since its inception the scholarship has provided opportunities to pursue higher education in UK Universities in various disciplines including Journalism, Education, Ancient History and Law.
Applications for 2017 are now closed.
Eligibility
The candidate should:
Identify a suitable Masters programme in the UK beginning in September / October 2017 (Proof of admission / application will be required at the time of the interview).
Be an Indian national with valid Indian Passport and must be in India at the time of applying for the Scholarship
Be not more than 30 years of age at the time of applying
Have an excellent track record in academics and extra- curricular achievements
Value of Award
Scholarships will fund young Indians to pursue a Masters in the UK and will cover part or full tuition fees.

Selection Criteria

Santander International Scholarships
Who is it for?
Santander International Scholarships support high-achieving students from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Ghana, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Russia, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, Uruguay, and the USA.
There will be four £5000 scholarships awarded in September 2017, available to eligible international students studying across all undergraduate programmes at the University of Lincoln.
Selection Criteria
The awards will be presented to eligible international students with the highest academic qualifications. Successful scholarship winners will be selected by the University of Lincoln’s International Office on application to the University.
Application Process
There is a separate application form (MSWord) which students must complete and submit by Friday 2 June 2017 in order to be eligible for the Santander International Scholarship.
Students should successfully apply for admission onto a taught degree programme at the University of Lincoln in the year of admission and then receive and firmly accept an academic offer of a place.
If the offer is conditional, the student will need to fulfil the terms of his/her offer in order to qualify for the scholarship.

University of Lincoln, Uruguay PhD Scholarship
A new programme of scholarships to conduct PhD studies in Life Sciences has recently been agreed between the University of Lincoln and the Uruguay National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII - Agencia Nacional de Investigación e Innovación). This programme consists of full 3-year PhD scholarships for citizens of Uruguay only, which cover University fees and a subsistence bursary.
Within the Life Sciences, funding will be awarded to applicants working on the following areas of research :
