Hello, ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard your Sea-link ferry from Folkestone to Boulogne and wish you a pleasant trip with us. We are due to leave Folkestone in about five minutes and a journey to Boulogne will take approximately two hours. We are getting good reports of the weather in the Channel and in France, so we should have a calm crossing. Sun and temperatures of 30 degrees celsius are reported on the French coast. For your convenience on the journey, we'd like to point out that there ar e a number of facilities available on board. There's a snack bar serving sandwiches and hot and cold refreshments situated in the front of A deck. There is also a restaurant serving hot meals situated on B deck. 一、总 则
1. 大学英语考试目的
大学英语考试(CET，通称“四、六级考试”)是在教育部高等教育司的主持和领导下，由全国大学英语四、六级考试委员会设计和开发，与教育部考试中心共同实施的一项大规模标准化考试，每年举行两次。考试对象为修完大学英语相应课程的在校大学生。
《大学英语课程教学要求(试行)》(以下简称《教学要求》)规定，大学英语课程是高校非英语专业大学生的一门重要的必修基础课程，其教学目标是培养学生的英语综合应用能力，特别是听说能力，使他们在今后的工作和社会交往中能用英语有效地进行口头和书面的信息交流。因此，大学英语四、六级考试的目的在于准确地衡量中国在校大学生的英语综合应用能力，为实现大学英语课程教学目标发挥积极作用。
2. 大学英语考试系列
大学英语考试系列包括笔试和口试，笔试分为大学英语四级考试(CET-4)和大学英语六级考试(CET-6);口试为大学英语四、六级El语考试(CET-SET).笔试考核包括听力理解、阅读理解、写作和翻译等;口试主要考核学生就熟悉的题材进行口头交际的能力。
根据《教学要求》，大学阶段的英语教学要求分为三个层次：一般要求、较高要求和更高要求。大学英语四级考试面向按一般要求修完大学英语课程的在校大学生;大学英语六级考试面向按较高要求修完大学英语课程的在校大学生。
1. 试卷构成
大学英语六级考试由四个部分构成：l)听力理解;2)阅读理解;3)改错或完型填空;4)写作和翻译。

2. 题型分解
大学英语六级考试各部分所考核的内容、题型、答题方式如下：
1)听力理解
听力理解测试学生获取口头信息的能力。录音材料用标准的英式或美式英语朗读，语速约为每分钟l50词。听力部分分值比例为35%(其中对话15%，短文20%)，考试时间35分钟。
对话部分(Listening Conversations)包括短对话和长对话，均采用多项选择题的形式进行考核。短对话约有7～8段，每段为一轮对话和一个问题;长对话有两段，每段为7～10轮对话和3～4个问题(长对话部分的样题详见第五部分，第23～24页);对话部分共l5题。每段对话均朗读一遍，每个问题后留有13秒的答题时间。
短文部分包括多项选择题型的短文理解(Listening Pas-sages)和复合式听写(Compound Dictation).多项选择题型的短文有3篇，每篇长度为240～260词，朗读一遍，每篇3～4题，共10题，每个问题后留有13秒的答题时间。复合式听写测试考生在不同层面上(从词汇到语...
