今天是国庆节长假的第一天，爸爸妈妈因为太忙，并没有带我出去玩。可我在家里也体会到了快乐的滋味。
“当——”墙上的钟响了，已经七点了，爸妈都还没回来，可是我肚子已经打起了小古，于是，我决定自己做饭，我又开始发愁：“吃什么呢？忽然，我看见碗柜的小篮里满满的鸡蛋，我眼前一亮，“啊！对了！荷包蛋吧！”我叫了起来。
煎荷包蛋，我从来没有做过呀！因为平时学习紧张，我哪有时间做这些麻烦的家务事。唉！还是学着妈妈的样子做吧。
我先把锅放在炉子上，然后倒好油。听妈妈说过：“油热了，才能放鸡蛋。”谁知，就在我拿鸡蛋的时候，锅里的油“吱吱地响着”，冒起烟来。我急忙跑到锅旁，可是烟越升越高，立刻把我包围了。我一边咳嗽，一边慌忙拿起鸡蛋，在碗边敲开，把蛋青和蛋黄一起倒进锅里，。哪知，锅里有水，油在锅里“噼噼啪啪”地爆开了，油飞溅出来，我手忙脚乱地抓起布把锅端下来，锅里的鸡蛋也成了“四不像”

今年国庆，我去了杭州西湖。
来到我盼望已久的西湖，我高兴不已。首先映如我的眼帘的是那一棵棵柳树，它们的枝条垂在湖面上，微风吹来泛起了圈圈波纹，好像蜻蜓点水，非常好看。
不多一会儿，天下起了蒙蒙细雨，西湖像披上了轻纱，就像梦中仙境。真是太美了！下午，天放晴了，太阳公公喜气洋洋的出来迎接我们这些远到而来的客人。它把无彩的阳光撒在湖面上，好似一颗颗星星闪闪发亮。这时一条彩虹挂在天空，七种颜色映在露珠上，露珠又给柳树穿上五彩缤纷的衣服，蝴蝶在花丛中飞舞，小鸟在树上唱着欢快的歌儿，桃树上有很多含包欲放的花骨朵，还有盛开的花朵，都随着轻风翩翩起舞。
慢慢的，慢慢的，西湖从雨中宁静，又回到了雨前的热闹气氛中，人们有的唱，有的跳，还有的在花丛中做游戏呢！站在草地上，听见不绝于耳的赞美声。

This year's summer vacation was most enjoyable. I spent fifteen days helping my grandparents doing farm work in the countryside， where I saw mountains fields covered with green plants. Sometimes I went swimming in the river to the west of the village， the water in which was quite clear.
I kept a diary every day. Besides doing farm work， I help the children in the neighborhood with their lessons. All of them showed interest in English.
