在太空，由于没有重力作用，宇航员尤其是女宇航员的头发并不会像我们在地球上一样垂顺，用水也不方便，那么如何保持头发的清洁呢?正在国际空间站上的美国女宇航员卡伦·尼贝里最近专门录制了示范太空洗头的视频，红遍了互联网。美国媒体戏称，从视频上看，在太空洗头就是个“毛骨悚立的冒险过程”。
目前生活在国际空间站的宇航员共有6名，卡伦·尼贝里就是其中一人。日前，她将自己洗头的示范视频发表在了视频网站和个人微博上。
“怒发冲冠”
卡伦拥有一头过肩长发，在太空里这些头发全都竖了起来，显得“怒发冲冠”。在国际空间站里，水不会像地球上那样从高往低流，而是会变成无数小水珠到处乱飘。
卡伦在视频里介绍在太空洗头必备几样东西：一小塑料袋温水、一瓶免冲洗洗发露、一条毛巾和一把梳子。“我首先要做的是先挤出一些热水，喷在我的头皮上。我有一面镜子，这样我就可以看到自己在做什么。有时候有些水会飘走，你就要尽量把它们抓回来，能抓多少抓多少。”卡伦正说着，就看到大大小小的水珠不断向四周飘散，只见她伸手把一些大水珠抓回抹到头发上。
“然后我只需要将这些水从头皮抹到发梢。”卡伦很有经验地说。在视频里可以看到，卡伦小心地让湿发直立着聚成一撮。
接下来洗发露上场的时间到了。卡伦像刚才挤热水一样，把这些免冲洗洗发露挤在自己的头皮处。她在视频中说道：“一点点就行了，把它揉进头发里。有时候为保证洗发效果，我会用梳子梳几下。”由于没有水冲洗，卡伦用一条白毛巾擦头发，称这样可以“把灰尘擦去”。之后，虽说这洗发露是免冲洗的，但卡伦还是将水挤在头皮上，用梳子往发梢梳几下。“感觉非常干净。”她说。卡伦随后用之前的那条白毛巾把头发擦干，并声称只用一条毛巾是为节约宝贵资源。
“随着头发变干，这些水其实是从我的头发上挥发了，将会使空气湿度增大，我们的空气调节系统则会又将这些水汽以冷凝水的形式回收。不久之后，我们的水处理系统又会将它们变成可饮用水。”
洗头的最后一步，是用梳子梳头以确保头发没有打结和缠绕。
这段洗头视频自7月9日上传至网络以来，已迅速流传开来，在YouTube视频网站上点击量超过百万。很多网友评论这“很酷”，“我也想去太空”，但也有人说：“为什么她不剪短发，节约洗发水和水?”
刮胡子更麻烦
网友“NoName”评论说：“如果长头发这么麻烦，那就剪掉吧，反正等她返回地球以后可以重新留长。”另一名网友“RedHev”则表示：“还有许多更重要的事情等着(宇航员)去做呢，为什么不在这场令人终生艳羡的旅程之前把头发剪短呢?”网友“harry”说：“这就是为什么所有的外星人都是秃顶的原因了。”

中新网6月27日电 据共同社报道，日本东京大学及电通、丰田等公司26日在东京展示了联合研发的小型人形机器人“KIROBO”。该机器人将于8月由无人补给飞船“鹳”号送上国际空间站。
据报道，KIROBO具备人工智能，会说日语。它将在国际空间站迎候11月前往的首位日本人船长若田光一，伴随他在太空聊天生活。
KIROBO高约34厘米，重约1公斤。展示现场除了KIROBO外，还有同型号的备用机器人“MIRADA”。当向KIROBO提问为何要成为机器人宇航员时，它会回答“因为我喜欢宇宙”。而对它说“你是第一个能对话的机器人宇航员”，它会效仿名人名言机智应答：“对我来说是一小步，但对机器人来说却是一大步”。

新华网莫斯科6月21日电（记者耿锐斌）莫斯科时间21日18时38分（北京时间21日22时38分），俄罗斯“进步M－11M”货运飞船从哈萨克斯坦境内的拜科努尔发射场升空。这是今年俄向国际空间站发射的第三艘货运飞船，它将向空间站运送超过2.6吨的各类物资。
俄地面飞行控制中心发布的消息说，货运飞船升空9分钟后同“联盟－U”运载火箭分离，并开始按预定轨道飞行。截至目前，飞船状况一切正常。
飞船除装载燃料、氧气、水、服装、食品等宇航员所需的生活用品及空间站俄罗斯舱段防辐射设备所需的传感器等之外，还带有给正在国际空间站值守的6名俄、美、日宇航员的个人礼物，其中包括10多公斤新鲜蔬果、腌黄瓜等美食，以及DVD影碟等。

据俄联邦航天署公布的消息，运载“联盟TMA－02M”载人飞船的俄“联盟－FG”型运载火箭按预订时间准时点火升空。目前，载人飞船与运载火箭已经成功分离，并进入预定轨道，宇航员们感觉良好。
此次飞赴国际空间站的是俄罗斯宇航员谢尔盖·沃尔科夫、美国宇航员迈克·福苏姆和日本宇航员古川聪。他们将在国际空间站值守5个多月，并进行大量科研工作和执行太空行走任务。此外，在此期间将有3艘俄“进步”货运飞船同空间站实现对接。
