We shouldn't regard work just as a bread-winning process. We should take a wider perspective on work. I regard my job a means to an end. It enables me to make enough money to live well. I'm happy. I find a comfortable life compensates for the fact that I have a routine life and three weeks' holiday per year. Everything becomes routine after a while. But, if you want, you can make the routine a creative experience. With the money I make, I can make up for the loss of variety during my 9-5 job five days a week on the weekend.
