托福听力题型中的重听题大致可分为：1.推断类，问法一般是：what does the professor mean when he says this-2.态度类，一般的问法是：why does the professor say this-意在考察考生能否理解说话人说话人说这句话的原因，目的和态度，能否明白字面以外的意思。
重听题在大部分情况下都可以通过只听题目来解题。 ETS通过此类题目重在考察对说话人语气的把握，重听题选取的情况大致可以分布在以下几处：1.说话人语气语调加强的时候2.有人提问的时候3文章结构转 接处。考生在听整篇听力文章的时候，在听到说话人的语气有特别的加强的时候就要注意，你不需要记下来这句被加强了的话具体是什么，此时需要做的是在脑海里 留下个印象，听出来说话人说话时候的态度是什么就可以了，然后等你回过头来做重听题又刚好问到这句话的时候就可以有很大的把握答对这道题目了。

What does the professor mean when she says this-
A. She understands the student's problem.

解释：看这道重听的问法是属于推断题，英语里tell me about it是一种很常见的口语表达，表示赞同的意思，并不是字面上的"跟我讲讲"的意思。所以说考生如果熟悉这个英语的固定表达方式的话就可以很轻松的做对这道题目。答案选A
