1、审题要充分
在写英语作文时，普遍存在这样一个情况：看完作文题，就开始写，想到哪写到哪，只要把字数凑够了就停笔了。这样写出来的文章，看起来就像在记流水帐，没有任何逻辑，杂乱无章，毫无条理，同时容易出现用错时态、用错格式等情况。
2、背诵满分作文
英语学习就是一个背诵的过程，因为它是一门语言学科，既需要我们去理解，同样要求我们去熟记。每一篇满分作文都有其独特之处，我们应该从中汲取自己所缺少的知识，将其应用到我们的写作之中，只有胸中有了一定量的料，我们在考场上才能下笔如有神。
3、句式丰富
一篇可读性强的文章，通常能较好体现学生对英语语言结构、词块、句式的运用。因此各类句式的多元呈现往往可以提升书面表达的成绩。
4、卷面干净容易得高分
据阅卷老师的经验，在阅卷的时候并不是按这3个部分逐项打分的，而是在第一遍读完全文之后，心里已经形成了一个“印象分”，然后再细读第二、三遍，把印象分分配到各个打分部分。因此，这个“印象分”就非常重要，而同学们的书法，也正是在这个环节，影响到了自己的分数。所以初三的考生，如果书法不好，一定要注意。所谓的书法并不需要写的很漂亮，符合3个简单的标准即可：没有斜体、没有连笔、涂改较少。
5、思维多元
从近五年中考书面表达命题情况看，书面表达话题虽多元，但在设题上基本为半开放形式，因此半控制部分学生需要涵盖题目所给信息并进行适当发挥，而半开放部分，则要求学生根据话题内容、自己的生活阅历、个人思维层次结合自己的英语表述自己的个人看法。
中考作文一般从内容、语言、组织结构这三方面进行评分(总分20分)：
1、内容(满分8)
7-8分：内容切题，意思连贯，表达清楚、完整。
5-6分：内容基本切题，意思大致连贯，表达基本清楚、但不够完整。
2-4分：内容不够切题，意思不够连贯，表达不够清楚、有些离题。
0-1分：文不对题，表达不清。
2、语言(满分8)
词数：每少5个单词扣0.5分，以此类推。只写出个别单词、词不成句不给分。
拼写：每处错误扣0.5分，同一错误不重复计数。
语法：每处错误扣0.5分，同一语法错误不重复扣分。
标点符号、大小写：每两处错误扣0.5分，但扣分总和不超过1分。
3、组织结构(满分4)
内容充实，上下文连贯，用语规范，表达准确，无语法错误;词汇和句型句式运用恰当，多见好句型和习惯表达用语者，可给3-4分。

我们审题的目的就是根据不同体裁确定不同的写作方法。通过审题，我们可以看出四级作文大都是三段式。如上例第一段为议论体，第二段为说明体，第三段为描述体。而各种文体又有不同的写作方式：议论文：要有论点和论据，而且往往从正反两方面来论述。例如上面第一段的思路是：做合格大学生，会怎么样(这是从正面论述);不能做合格的大学生，又会怎么样(从反面论述);所以我们要做合格的大学生(结论)。说明文：可以从几方面来说明一个问题，可以从德智体三方面来说明合格大学生的必要性。描述文：以“人”为中心描述一个“做”的过程。与上两段相比，本段的主语多为人称代词，他要与第二段相呼应进行描述。

首先我们要拿出三个月左右的时间备考英语四级，最少也不能低于两个月。第一、背单词。单词的重要性不再过多的陈述，如果单词量太低，对考试题目的理解就会差，影响做题。一个月的时间背完英语四级词汇。全部掌握英语四级词汇的话，需要每天花两个小时左右记单词。
第二、听力。每天坚持听两个小时左右，可以是历年的真题、模拟试题、练习题等等，累了就听听BBC、VOA类的内容，实在枯燥的话就听听英文歌曲，时刻把自己置身于英文的环境中。
第三、阅读。刚开始做阅读的时候正确率肯定是不会太高，阅读的备考只能是通过长期的大量的练习，慢慢的就会掌握一些做题技巧。每天至少要做二至三篇的练习题，然后找一些阅读的做题技巧提高正确率。
第四、作文和翻译。这两部分放在一起说。前一个月的备考可以不重视作文和翻译，在平时练习阅读和背单词的同时看到好的句子顺便一起背。好的句式、好的谚语等等要进行背诵。然后多看一些作文的格式，多读一些经典范文，可以拿历年真题的作文范文当素材。翻译同理。翻译和作文都是需要连词的，连词用的好会得高分，所以还需要掌握一些连词的用法。

一、长短句原则
在文章第一段（开头）用一长一短，且先长后短；在文章主体部分，要先用一个短句解释主要意思，然后在阐述几个要点的时候采用先短后长的句群形式，定会让主体部分妙笔生辉！文章结尾一般用一长一短就可以了。
