When was the last time you saw a frog? Chances are， if you live in a city， you have not seen one for some time. Even in wet areas once teeming with frogs and toads， it is becoming less and less easy to find those slimy， hopping and sometimes poisonous members of the animal kingdom. All over the world， and even in remote parts of Australia， frogs are losing the ecological battle for survival， and biologists are at a loss to explain their demise. Are amphibians simply oversensitive to changes in the ecosystem? Could it be that their rapid decline in numbers is signaling some coming environmental disaster for us all? This frightening scenario is in part the consequence of a dramatic increase over the last quarter century in the development of once natural areas of wet marshland; home not only to frogs but to all manner of wildlife. Hackers target the home front
1. One of the UK's leading banks has been forced to admit that organised hacking gangs have been targeting its executives. For the past year, Royal Bank of Scotland has been fighting systematic attempts to break into its computer systems from hackers who have sent personalised emails containing keyloggers to its senior management. This has included executives up to board level and is now the subject of a separate investigation by the Serious and Organised Crime Agency.
2. The hackers are homing in on the trend for people to work from home. The hackers make the assumption that the computers being used outside the work environment are more vulnerable than those protected by a corporate IT department.

But it soon spread to other arts of the world. Now it is becoming increasingly difficult to go shopping or eat a meal without listening to music. To begin with, "muzak" (音乐广播网) was intended simply to create a soothing (安慰) atmosphere. Recently, however, it's become big business—thanks in part to recent research. Dr. Ronald Milliman, an American marketing expert, has shown that music can boost sales or increase factory production by as much as a third. But, it has to be light music. A fast one has no effect at all on sales. Slow music can increase receipts by 38%. This is probably because shoppers slow down and have more opportunity to spot items they like to buy. Yet, slow music isn't always answer. Dr.Milliman found, for example, that in restaurants slow music meant customers took longer to eat their meals, which reduced overall sales.
