The tuition and fee figure above includes a $864 student service fee, $510 collegiate fee (may vary based on your college), $290 international student fee, $500 international student academic services fee, and $242 in miscellaneous fees. In addition, books and supplies are averaged at $1,000. Tuition and fees are subject to change and actual expenses will vary for individual students. The University of Minnesota is not responsible for any difference between these estimated costs and your actual costs. Cost increases should be expected for each subsequent academic year. Tuition and fees for the 2017-18 academic year will be finalized in July 2017.

Average costs for tuition, fees, and books and supplies for summer session are $11,409. Room and board and living expenses are already accounted for in the academic year living expenses.
